How We Engage

How We Engage: Pricing and Engagement Models

Every engagement starts with a clear picture of the work, the timeline, and the cost. We share specific numbers after we understand your situation, not before.

    Free Technology Review

A structured 60-minute conversation about your current setup, followed by a written findings document with three to five prioritized recommendations. Plain language, no sales pressure. You keep the recommendations whether you engage us further or not.

    No cost. No obligation.

    Focused First-Phase Projects

Scoped engagements that deliver a visible first win in a defined timeframe. Common Phase 1 projects include website modernization, workflow automation, tech stack audits, and AI visibility reviews. We scope the work, agree on the timeline and cost upfront, then deliver with accountable project management.

    Fractional CTO Retainer

Ongoing technology advisory and oversight without hiring a full-time CTO. Includes a monthly strategic call, advisory access between calls, vendor evaluations, and a quarterly written technology summary. No long-term lock-in.

Monthly retainer scaled to engagement hours.

    Implementation Support

Time-based engagement for ongoing build work, system migrations, or technical projects where the scope evolves as we go. This works best for established relationships where trust has been built through a prior project.

    How we think about cost

    Transparent before commitment

Every proposal lists scope, timeline, payment milestones, and what's excluded. No surprise costs.

    Right-sized to the work

We don't push the largest engagement. If a focused first phase is the right move, that's what we propose. If a retainer fits better than a project, we say so.

    No long-term lock-in

Project work has clear end dates. Retainers are month-to-month. You stay because the value is real, not because of a contract.

    Example engagements

    Healthcare workflow automation

A client's staff was reviewing messages for keywords and routing follow-up by hand each day. We built an automation to flag messages and notify the right team, saving a full-time employee about two hours daily.

    App rescue and relaunch

A marketer came to us after their freelance developer disappeared, leaving a published app inactive after a security update. In 25 hours we took over, updated the app, and got it back in the store generating revenue.
